What is covered? The Basic Plan for $ 336 a year includes a $55 service call fee:

If necessary, replacement of like kind and quality.
Customer service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
One toll-free number for all service calls.
No home inspection.
No age limit on appliances covered.
No limit on service calls.
Heating system
Ductwork
Plumbing
Stoppages
Electrical system
Ceiling Fans
Built-in dishwasher.
Oven/range/cook-top.
Built-in microwave oven.
Water heater including gas or electric.
If recalls are necessary for the same claim within 90 days there is no additional charge for parts and labor is guaranteed for 30 days.
Coverage for one year.
the effective date of the policy is immediately, but there is a 30 day wait on water heater coverage.
a home inspection is not required prior to policy coverage. items must be in working order when the policy is purchased.
there are no restrictions due to age of home or appliance/system.
the basic farmers policy covers homes up to 5000 square feet. the total footage of the home is provided by the policyholder. optional coverage is available for larger homes.
optional coverage changes can be made within 30 days of contract start date or at renewal.
customers may cancel this policy at any time by informing us in writing that date the cancellation is to take effect.
